Shelby's Christening

Shelby was christened at the Galilee Chapel, NAS-North Island in Coronado, on Saturday, June 21st, 1997. Despite being only four months old (and a couple of days), she was an absolute angel -- and seemed to understand the reverence of the occasion.

Chaplain Don "D-Cubed" den Dulk, Command Chaplain at NAS-North Island and the master of ceremonies at a particular April 1st in recent history, administered the blessing.

Shelby's godparents, Chip McAteer and (via cellular teleconference from West Chester, Pennsylvania) Lynne Tucker, were present, as well as Shane's godfather and several dear friends.
